| GARP's 2014 Job Task Analysis Survey Results |
The survey is designed to identify the knowledge and skills necessary for competency in risk management practices. The key finding is that VaR is still relevant, but that recognizing and communicating its deficiencies is important. Respondents were also asked about key changes in risk management in the near future. See the Press Release for full details. GARP thanks the more than 1,400 risk managers who participated in this important project.

Volunteer leadership in your local chapter represents a unique opportunity to network, raise your professional profile, refine leadership skills, and influence the future of your profession in your local marketplace. As a Director or Committee Member, you will work on the strategy and implementation of regular chapter meetings. Your responsibilities may involve developing a meeting calendar, securing speakers and venues, and liaising with GARP staff with regard to chapter meeting promotion.
